I am running map FP-0598, with Cobra Speedster and V&H big sucker ac. I am happy with the way it runs and dont care to dyno. I run mode 17 at +1 and the idle is right at 1 grand. If olny I could find what the other modes control but they arnt telling.
Thats good stuff Toplink, Now I am on a mission to find out what other values control! If anybody has knowledge of what a sepcific value controls on the Fuelpak drop it here.
I will be tinkering with this Warm Idle value to lower my idle temps and speed. Thanks Toplink
I just went thru V&H's website and got an update for my SB. Mode 1 was the only change in the program. Redid the modes and took it out for a test ride. Maybe it is my imagination but the bike felt like it had a little better get-up to it. But that might be due to the cooler temps, too.
FP0597 had some pretty dramatic changes.
After giving the new map a try, I have to admit its way better!
I was pretty surprised when I first saw it....it's way different from the previous values. I'm keeping printed out copies of the values just in case. Need to see what kind of MPG I get with the new set up.
I changed the Mode 17 value to plus 1 from the specified value of 0 and rode today at approx 60 degrees and I noticed a lower idle speed along with more consistent idle speed. Crisper off the bottom in the first 1/8 throttle and it also lessened closed throttle deceleration cackle.
Again this was with FP1348 map/short shots/open baffles/Arlen Ness intake. I also have Mode 23 set to value 25
I dont know if i would want it to idle any lower than it is now, and before changing to plus 1 on Mode 17 the idle was usually higher and took longer to settle down to a low idle.
I will be raising this value to 2 and then 3 just for reference. I am gonna record exhaust temps at the head with radar for informational purpose as well.

I am still running the same map as I stated and must say I am very happy. Thanks for the Mode 17 tip. I am running at Mode 17 at plus 1 and wouldnt want my idle any lower.
Read this link regarding hard starts when cold when I changed Mode 17 value to plus 1
I just picked up a fuelpak and will have stage 1 air next week...my bike has aftermarket slip-ons but I don't know what they are...the crossover is still there though and they are not as loud as my old roadstar with longshots was...not knowing what the pipes are...how do I pick a set for the fuelpak? I tried 2 different sets on their site and the numbers are way different for both sets of slip-on pipes I tried...? thanks! Bob
