difference in minis apes and reg?
i have 06 sporty with 16" apes, and am trying to figure out what to put on 07 street bob. have read some post talking about minis and then just about apes. so i dont remain confused and over think this. could some one explain and let me know what their riding with? just for some ideas. so i can decide whether to keep stock bars or continue with plans of riding with apes on the bob.

You should already have "mini" apes on the bob unless whoever had it before you changed them, I beieve there 12". I swapped my stock ones for 14" that I made from measurements of my buddies road six custom bars. Im 6ft and think there the perfect height. when I had stock controls on them I thought I had made a mistake and should have went higher but with fwd controls there perfect.

thanks so much, i kinda thought the stock bars were considered minis. i just wasnt sure and since the bob is a bit bigger and more power i am making sure i i'm checking into everything. nothing worse than uncomfy bars and seat!
