I'm looking at getting a custom paint job and have been looking at different sites in the US & UK. Came across this site http://www.cuttingedgeillusions.com
anyone got any experience of this company ?

Thinking of going for their Dimension but waiting on a quote !

Also does anyone know if you have to do anything special to a fuel tank before shipping it overseas ?

Have had a quote of $1900, does this sound about right for a custom paint job ?

sounds about right to a little on the low side.

How complex is the paint job? For a pretty basic paint job I got an estimate of around $2000 a bunch of years ago.

Check out www.attitudecustompainting.com. Great people to deal with. Very reasonable prices. They do tin swaps so you will not have to be without your ride very long. The quality of their work is second to none. You will not be disappointed.
