When I went to my local H-D dealer for a test ride, the first bike I took a spin on was a Street Bob - fell in love immediately - I told the salesman - this is what a motorcycle should feel like. I took the Street Bob on the show room floor that had forward controls and never looked back. No softail for me.
I really enjoy my '08 Street Bob. I ride my neighbors softy every week while he is deployed and it rides real good but as soon as I ride his, I climb on my Dyna and it just seems more fun for me. I'm 59 years old and need all the fun I can get!! LOL! Why not sell the 3 you have and just buy yourself a softail?
What makes a dyna better at transferring power?? No offense but i dont buy it
The price of the soft-ride, the B-engine. The small powerloss caused by the balancers, no difference to talk about IMO, but good to know when a softguy feels the need to talk about how happy he made his stealer. :=)
Nope. Softails are for guys who like to polish there bikes more than ride them.
hard core riders choose dynas!
Sorry Peter Black you couldn't be more wrong. You see anything on my softail that needs polishing that's the number one reason I got rid of my wide glide, It had a ton of chrome and I was tired of cleaning and polishing it. I got stationed in South Carolina and it almost rust over night.
Nice Street Bob's on here I like those. They're pretty sweet.

Anyone else wished they bought a softtail? but didnt realize the square tubing and shock after the purchase? And is there a way to hide shocks? I love my superglide but cant get past that design!
