Anyone else wished they bought a softtail?

I agree, being called a Sportster is no insult! Love those bikes, loved my '72 Sporty that I had in the early '80s, even though the engine bolted right to the frame was a trip!
I love the looks of some Softails, and admit I haven't rode any. I just fell for the Fat Bob and it's a love affair that I predict will last and last. Three years now this week!!

I like Softails but if I'd wanted one, I would have bought one. Simple, really.
But more importantly, what makes the world of Harley Davidsons so interesting, so intriguing, so fun is the different kinds of Harleys. Seriously. Wouldn't it be boring if Harleys all looked alike? Ever been to a rice burner store and had trouble distinguishing between the makes and models of the bikes? Talk about b.o.r.i.n.g. Wow.
I've never seen two Harleys that look the same. Maybe on the showroom floor, but about five minutes after they hit the street -- No two are the same.
Instead of arguing about our differences, we should be celebrating them. I love 'em all. Which one you love better is what makes us who we are, not who we aren't.
