NO, I am not dating a tranny but Lucille (street Bob) started to pull up lame the last day or 2. Took it to the stealer(mine isn't bad). They pulled the left side off and couldn't find anything. I have know left it w/ them and they need to rip tranny apart. Might be the primary bearing that was originaslly a concern by H-D. I got 8900 on her. ANyone elser having some or had some problems. My "06" SB is not shifting right. When I shift up to 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th I have to push the shifter down whit my foot in order to shift to the next higher gear. Same with down shifting, I have to lift the shift lever with mt toe before it will go into the next gear.
I have 8200 miles on it and it's been this way for about the last 1000 miles. I had it to the dealer twice and each time it worked fine for about 200 miles. I 'm taking it back to a new dealer on Monday and hopefully they'll be able to fix the darn thing.
Tranny started getting "noisey" when downshifting or pulling in the cluth. Sounded like the chain was taking it's time slowing down in the case. If in neutral, you can achieve the same sound by pulling in the clutch and releasing it. After a while, it kinda sounded like dirty bearings w/ some wear or play. They have it scheduled to be looked at (or worked on) tomorrow.[sm=crossbonesgif.gif]Mako
