I have a 2003 lowrider and I cant find my manual so I downloaded one and my question is, on the speedo wiring the manual shows a o/w,bk,w/gn,bk/y going to the main harness from the speedo and on my speedo I have a bk,0/w,bk/w/brn and I was wondering if someone could look at there manual and see what yours shows. Thanks alot
Thanks, I wonder why the wires on my bike are bk, o/w, w, bk/w, brn, from the speedo to the main harness, does anyone know which wires match up to the manuals discription.
My 03 service manual shows BN/V, BK/Y, W/GN, and O/W are the four wires going from Speedo to main wiring harness. According to my manual, this should be the same for all Dynas (both domestic and international).
BN/V goes to pin 11 on main harness connector 20A.
BK/Y goes to pin 10 on main harness connector 20A.

BN/V goes from pin 2 at the speedo to pin 11 on main harness connector 20A.
BK/Y goes from pin 4 at the speedo to pin 10 on main harness connector 20A.
W/GN goes from pin 7 at the speedo to pin 2 on main harness connector 20A.
O/W goes from pin 12 at the speedo to pin 1 on main harness connector 20A.
Thanks FXD2003Rider. I should have thought to put in the "FROM" as well as the "TO". Great forum here. Glad to see so many people taking the time to help someone out!

The speedo/tacho combination I have for my FXD==>FXDL conversion has a female 8 pin Deutsch (see image below for the pin #'s). If similar to yours, IMO it should fit into the 2003 harness! You'll find the #'s on the black edge at the wire side of the connector.
