I decorated the garage for Halloween tonight. Had the bike all dressed up, red lights in the background, strobes, black lights above, creepy music, and of course smoke.
Had about 20 kids show up. Worst showing ever.
Oh well, had fun decorating and will try again next year.
First picture is of the bike with the lights on in the garage. Second one is dark but it looked really cool. Add in some smoke and it was awesome.
I dont know what it is but people dont seem to get into Halloween as much anymore. I remember how big it was just 15 yrs ago in my childhood neighborhood. Several theme homes with flying zip line creatures and group effort hauntings. Its really dissapointing now.
dont think he can reach the fwds... you should strap it too you and take it for a ride haha dress it like a little kid and let the thing flap behind you in the wind SURE to get some attention..idk if it would be the good kind though
I didn't have a lot of kids come by my place either, the only good thing that I can figure is that that is one less candy bar for some kid to eat.
I like the "Ghost Rider" feel you got going on there.
Back in the mid-late 90's, my buds and I would dress up as ghouls, skeleton bikers, etc and go ride. Those were good times.
As far as "showing", maybe it's the fact that people are having less children over the past 5-10yrs due to the economy. Could also be that the kids you saw 5 yrs ago are aging out of dressing up.
Where I live, they do trick-or-treating from 5pm to 7pm. 2hrs. That's it. Guess it's part of living in the bible belt.
Also, "Halloween" happened on Saturday the 30th and not the 31st. Can't be evil on sunday. That would be blasphemy.
