I rode from San Francisco to Tucson, with a new friend, & had a blast! Somewhere between San Jose & Gonzales, my battery cover came off. So, when I got to Tucson, I stopped in to pick one up, but there was none in stock. So, in deciding whether to order one or wait til I got home, long story short, I just traded in my '05 1200C sporty for an '09 FXDF. Sierra has been very dependable, & well, we've been through quite a bit together. We had a strong personal attachment. I wanted to keep him always. Not to mention I had paid cash for him, & he was my first brand new bike, getting him in Oct 04. But having no place, to keep him, I made HD promise he'd get a good home. I shed a tear & waved Sierra good-bye.
That being said, I'm wildly in love with my new '09 Fat Bob! comfortable, & easy from the get go! I'm looking forward to this new relationship, & our upcoming adventures! Now, to figure out how to mount my guitar on my new honey....

Reason: new picture
Congratulations and welcome to the Dyna family. Get a two up seat with a sissy bar and bungee cord your guitar to the back, providing it's in a case of course. You will have fun with your Dyna...now post some pics,
Congrats on the new fat bob. Just sold my 04 1200c today. After a couple months on the Fat Bob, I couldn't wait to get rid of her. Like most ex's, I thought she was perfect till I took my new girl for a ride.
Nice looking bike, congrats and enjoy. Don't feel bad, I walked into the stealer in July just to get a clip for the battery cover on my Sporty and rode off on a 2005 Road King Classic, it happens...lol
