In all seriousness,

CHANGE YOUR OIL... YES, WHEN YOU PUT IS AWAY NOT WHEN YOU START IT AGAIN IN THE SPRING...(well, unless you do both.)

But why would I do that ?

I'm glad you asked...

used oil is actually acidic and corrosive ...! so don't let it sit in your bike all winter..
What about if I changed the oil about 1,000 miles ago? Change it still?

I have also heard of guys covering the bike and hangin a 40 or 60 watt bulb under the bike to keep the condensation at bay. Not sure this works but I have heard that. I keep mine in a cold garage plugged into the battery tender and I ride it as much as I can and never had any trouble with my bikes.

Only thing I ever do is clean off all the bug juice with Honda Spray Cleaner, check tire pressure, Stabil in the tank (run for a few minutes or take a short ride), plug in battery tender and wait for spring.

Wash & wax, battery tender, full tank of gas w/stabil, breathable cover. Check with your dealer cause most are having seminars on storing your bike for the winter.

I wouldn't bother with the oil. Its not like its sitting for for eternity. Oil maybe acidic but its not going do anything by just sitting there.
