Default long term storage

I'm heading back down range in two weeks. Any suggestions on long term storage of my 07 Ultra for at least 6 months? I do not have electricity in the storage shed so I can't run a battery tender. Should&nbsp\\;I take the battery out or just leave it? Shud I put the bike on the jack to unload the suspension and take the weight off the tires? Any help appreciated.

Your suggestions would not hurt,and if you could take the battery out and put it on a tender you would be glad you did when you get back.Fill the tank, use either a Fitch or Sta-Bil,change the motor oil,throw a blanket or cover it.Good Luck

Along from what was suggested, Spray everything that would corode or rust with wd-40. engine and all, put sheet plastic on the floor. and get 10 boxes of Decon to keep unwanted guest from building a nest. Take the seat in the house.&nbsp\\;

All of the above, plus pull the spark plugs, spray some fogging oil in the cylinders, then if you can turn the engine over by hand a couple times (if up on a jack just put it in 4th and turn the back tire a time or 2) then put the plugs back in.

Solar chargers are cheap if there is a way to plug it into a battery tender or hook it up directly to the battery.&nbsp\\; Just a suggestion.&nbsp\\;

Sta-bil gums up injecters just fill the tank so it won't condinsate and siphon out the gas when you pull it out of storage.Plastic on the ground good call,Steel wool in the end of the muffs keeps mice out.Put the seat somewhere safe cause the mice love that.Wipe all the wires down with wd-40 mice hate the taste but love to chew on the wire.

pull the battery, and put it on a tender somewhere!!!!!&nbsp\\; During the winter I do store my bike on&nbsp\\;a dolly to keep the tires off a cold concrete floor...Some say it doesn't matter, but I do.....
&nbsp\\;
fill the tank, cover it up, what the other have said, and she'll be waiting for you when you get back
