Arrow Scraping pipes on the road
How many guys here have scraped the front lower pipe of their V&H big radius 2 into 1 pipes. I was looking at pictures and the front pipe looks a bit low.

don't have the 2-1 but I have scraped the front bend and the rear tip when pushing it hard in the corners. Figure it is all part of the game...

I haven't scraped my VH big radius 2into1, but i scraped the stock pipes with cycle shack slip-ons, as well as the primary cover.

I scraped mine up pretty good, but I also scraped up my primary, its just part of the cost to have fun.

I've scraped the bottom of my forward control heel guards many times.

Lots of us have, the Big Radius are very low. Fortunately it's pretty much only the heat guard but still pisses you off. The saving grace, you can't see the damage unless you look. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...d-do-that.html This wasn't the only thread about dragging pipes. But you asked for pics.....

I have the Thunderheaders....And I have about a 5" flat spot on the fron underside of the pipe.

Yep, what he said .... and I'll probably need to weld a piece on soon.
Maybe I'll use magnesium so it throws sparks when I drag the pipe ..

I have forward controls on my Fat Bob and I drag the heels of my boots first. A little disconcerting the first couple of times but its a good warning system and has saved the expensive, shiny stuff.
