Default Headlight Mod

Im interested in replacing the weak *** black & chrome oem headlight on my Dyna with a larger diameter one. Would this one on ebay be worth bidding on? Should I go aftermarket instead? any suggestions and pics welcome

I found the same headlight on ebay and paid about $60, but it was in excellent condition. The one you're looking at doesn't sound that nice, but if you plan on coating or painting, it would work. I've seen a new 7" light in one of the aftermarket catalogs for $80, but can't remember which one. If you don't need it right away just be patient and keep looking. You might also try the Parts for Sale and Parts Wanted sections of the forum.

Which stock headlight do you have? I may be willing to take it off your hands.

I ordered this one on ebay, a few days ago, waiting for it to arrive. I've seen other forum members post pics with this headlight on their bike and it looks awesome!

I'll eventually paint or power it black, but as soon as it comes in it is going on the bike.

I have thought about doing that but I like the looks of a larger light better
