I use a brakelight modulator also, but I prefer the Kisan Technologies TailBlazer. It requires no wiring. You simply swap out the stock bulb for Kisan bulb. It flashes briefly when you apply the brakes and then goes steady on.

I used to get razzed for all my safety stuff. But I had the 3M reflective tape in patterns on my helmet, a Halo band, reflective orange icon vest Tour Master Jacket with the reflective piping. Bought a LED light with alternating patterns and had it on the back of my helmet. The 3M tape on the edge of my rear fenders and luggage rack, and then the blue LED under lighting on the bike. Blacked out bikes look cool, but the name of the game is being seen.

Crap, and I was gonna say reflective safety tape. If your bike is black they do make black reflective ssafety tape.

I replaced my front and rear fender tip wrap around with LED from Custom Dynamics. I've just replaced the rear turns with Harley LED....they're stupid bright. And please find the pic of the street glo super black reflective tape that I put on my helmet early last winter. Its on both sides, front and rear. Can't miss it when light strikes it.

Get an led light kit. Instead of blue,green or red. Get the white leds. They have a blue glow to them and they are sharp as hell in my opinion.
Just a thought.
