OK it makes sense now.Seriously consider the 180 tire though I get allot of compliments on it from guys with older Dynas that think I have some kind of wide tire kit. Also don't be in too big a hurry to chop up your fender you could probably sell it om Ebay for a couple hundred and put the money toward something else.Good luck.

I will joe. I wish I still had the gl1000 so you could play around with it. Sadly it brought just enough money to cover the tax, title, transfer charges on the harley.

Got the wide glide dash & speedo in! Will post pics in a little while. I also bought some black risers from drew at Dr. V-Twin for the hangers. Can't say enough about this guy! I told him I how much money I had & he hooked me up with a great deal & less than an hour after i sent the paypal, I received the tracking number & he had already shipped them!

Keeping that bike running and riding it is the best mod you can have.

Dude your bike looks pretty cool. I guess I would focus on the most expensive mod around your $30 a week budget. Here's a good idea, get another job! Less time for riding though... Whatever makes your hair fly back, man!!!

Update: My jeep needs the block rebuilt & i won't have the time until summer, so I had to buy another car - minor setback. 95 z24 cavalier in good running condition for $550 (thank you craigslist).

Here's where I'm at.
Got the hangers, grips/turn signals, & small parts for the tank swap.

I just need the get the rest of the tank parts, run/stop/turn module for the back, & forget about the rear tire for now.

I also have to find a cheap set of extended cables for the new hangers..That's gonna be hard.
