Hi
Ive got a 1994 FXD Superglide with T-Bars fitted & I want to change the Speedo & Tacho setup to a single gauge mounted on the bars.
I also want to ditch the Eyebrow & Headlight & put a nice chromed headlight on.
Im after ideas on what will look & work best (pictures of what you did) or links to good sites for more info.
Bearing in mind its a cable drivin speedo now & Ill have to use some sort of pickup cable to drive a digital speedo.

I went to a Dakota Digital with every thing in it,even a shift light! It was a little work to wire it up but worth the time.I also used soft tail bars and made a homemade mount.I changed the triple trees to mid-glide with a kit from vulcan engineering.the headlight went on with the free mount that came with the kit.E-Z to do.
After a lot of experimentation with different risers and bars, I finally ordered a set of t-bars to closely match my most comfortable and best handling riser/bar combo.
I'll use a set-up about like my current speedo/tach mount arrangement. I like my Dakota Digital and it's location, but I can always rotate it, raise it or lower it to suit.

Thanks for the replies I've been looking at the Dakota Digital stuff & do like it so after the recommendations that seems the way to go.

But I have a few things Im not sure of and need a little help.
If I decide to keep using the speedo cable thats already there does it connect to the HLY-3016 or do I need one of these to make it work?http://www.australiamotorcycleaccess...sor_P34502.php
Also can the warning lights & neutral etc be wired into the HLY-3016 or do I need special conections to conect to it?
Or is it just easier to mount them somewhere else like the dash panel?
I am ordering the dakota digital as part of my SE 120R "upgrade" to my street bob. I am undecided as to red or blue though guess I better decide pretty quick. The bike goes in for the engine swap within the next month.
