Actually I posted the wrong switch, it needs to be NOMC Normally Open Momentary Closed

Another option is the newer horn switches that come on the Fat Boy as well as other models. Top side of horn switch replaces the odometer / trip / clock switch on the console.

WIDERGLIDER- I'm pretty sure it isn't a solder process but crimping a terminal end on the wires and then slipping them into the plug.

I checked the harness and in order to do that I have to pull apart a few zip ties, pull the wires from the sleeve, etc., not too comfortable with that. What about just spinning the wires together and wrap with electrical tape? Wouldn't that be good enough? That way I don't have to tear apart the harness...

Wonder how in depth the install would be? Rewiring? etc?

I'm not a big fan of "just spinning the wires together and wrap with electrical tape"!

Splicing, soldering and using shrink tubing is the best way to do it; check out this post by Citoriplus: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/2801748-post524.html

Could you post an image of the current situation in order to be able to give you the proper guidelines?
