WS6..... I like the look of your machine. You did a nice job on it and kept it a clean understated final result.
I am thinking of building myself a 21 inch spoked front wheel to put on my 2003 Dyna Low Rider. I assume you had a 19 inch wheel on yours before?
Now, my question: Did you have to put a new fender on to accomodate the 21 inch wheel, or did the original fender work OK?

Looks Awesome! BTW that has to be my favorite color scheme that Harley has come out with.

jdog12091,
Thank You....

Thanks! I ordered both today.
On the License Laydown kit, are you using the thinner rubber isolator to make the mount tilt even further back than the thicker one?
Gamma742,
Yes, I used the thin mount isolator and also reused the hardware that my dealer put on for the license plate when I bought the bike. Hardware Link

piniongear,
Thank You.....The 21" wheel / tire setups overall diameter is about 1 inch taller (1/2" more radius) so the tire goes up into the fender about 1/2". If you look at my before photos you can see a gap between the 19" tire and fender. The 21" wheel fits better without that extra gap. I think a Sportster Custom 21" wheel might be a bolt in swap for your bike with the same Narrow Glide triple trees.
WS6....
Thanks for the leads on the two wheels and the info on the fender fitting closer to the 21 inch. The 21 eats up some of that open space that was there with a 19 inch, and the result is a much better looking setup.
I agree that a Sportster wheel should fit as I have the narrowglide front end on my Dyna. I wanted to build my own wheel but it may be easier to just buy a complete wheel. Thanks again..............pg
ws6...just curious how wide is your front end now?
or how much wider than the stock mid glide ?
also... what would you say was the biggest p.i.t.a. on the install?
