Latest addition is the 21" front wheel, Wide Glide triple clamps, and internal handlebar wiring. It took me longer then I could have imagined...........24 hours non stop.

The third shot shows how much cleaner the bars look. Nice work. How does the front handle. As a wide glide owner I would guess it handles a lot worse than the original tire. LOL The front wheel looks sharp. I'll bet it looks good from the front.

I edited in some front shots in above.
As far as handling......not what I expected....smoother ride, the side walls must be softer. It feels like a totally different bike, it has better low speed stability(1/2* more rake then the Low Riders triple clamp, total now is 31*), the bike feels lighter, very nimble, its so easy to take a turn or change lanes, very little effort, I guess because of the wider forks, it gives you an advantage like holding a bicycle tire and having someone spin it, and when you try and turn it your fighting that gyro, then doing the same but using a longer axle you get a better mechanical advantage.

Are the triple tree's and 21" wheel the only wideglide parts you used? the lower legs and axle, are those your stock parts or are they also off a wide glide? triple tree's and wheel are 06 wg right? sorry for all the questions but just trying to figure out what other parts would be needed for swap, thanks!!

Ash,
Here's what I used: 2006 Wide Glide parts; 21" wheel, upper and lower triple clamps, axle, axle spacers.

From a hardware store: 3/4" spacers and 3/4" longer stainless Allen head bolts for mounting the fender, and stainless washers for shimming (.040" for the caliper &.090" for the rotor) to center the caliper over the rotor.

Use other existing hardware from your bike (axle nut and washer, triple clamp pinch bolts, head bearings nuts and washer, fender nuts, forks, etc.).
