Default 2" fatbob tank lift

I just put a 2" tank lift on my FatBob. Very simple installation and great product from Jackyl. Here are some pics for anyone considering installing one. First pic is before, second is after. Not sure that there is any "technical" advantage to it, but it sure does look smooth

Good choice on the lift. I love how the tank flows with the lines of the seat. I got the same lift on my SB and it makes my 16's look a little bit shorter. I love it.

Looks great on there! I got one on my Fatbob too. I think the lift flows better when you have apes or taller risors also.

The lift looks great. Congrats. I am also considering running a 2" lift on my Fatbob, but am a bit iffy. My concern stems from the fact that I am running stock drag bars and feel the bars or the turn signals would hit the tank. Do any of you know if this is the case? I realize all of the previous posters have after market bars on and may not know, but any feed back would be beneficial. I apologize if this is in anyway perceived as thread jacking, but I felt it was relevant to those of us who haven't gotten the chance to change out our bars/relocate turn sigs. Thanks.

The lift looks and works great if you also add 2" spacers to the riser from spacerjim. At 6' 250lbs they work well for me with forward controls on my Fatbob.

I've thought about doing the same to my SB, possibly even going 3". Was wondering if you had to run any new lines because of the added height and how easy was the install. Can it easily be done in my garage with basic tools.
