Default Preparing for Winter

This may be a foolish question but I am wondering if I need to do anything specific to ready my bike for winter. It doesnt get too cold here and I am able to at the very least Start my bike and allow it to run a couple times a week. It is connected to a battery tender already. Do any fluids need to be drained? Should i add stabil to the gas tank? This is my first winter with the Harley and I want to do everything the right way. Thanks

If you're not going to ride every week or two, put stabil int he tank.

But it's 56 degrees and sunny in Atlanta right now... so I have to say if I were you I'd just keep riding!!!

Get some heated gloves and keep riding. Your question would make sense in New York or something. A windshield helps too

I haven't planned on really storing it, I just know it won't be out on the road the way it is during the summer. I wish I could have gotten it out today, just didn't have the chance.

I spoke with the guys from my local Harley dealer asnd they said that adding stabil to a full tank is the way to go(manual says to put a fuel stablilizer). Don't keep the battery tender on the whole time. Leave it on for like a month and then take it off for a while. Also, starting it once in a while if you are storing it for the winter is bad.
