Thumbs up Titanium Wrapped Thunderheader

Have to thank 07bobber for his thread and answering my questions as well as hogrida_06. 07bobbers thread gave me the engourage to say F-It and went for it. Something I've been wanting to do for a long time.

The wrap is from DEI found here. I found it on eBay for about $30 less expensive.

I'll be happy to help or answer any question that I can.

Enjoy

Wow! Looks awesome!

What are the advantages with using this specific type of wrap?

Color
Performance
Price
Ease of Install (since no water is involved)
Heat displacement

I'm trying to decide on wrapping or powdercoating my new BigShots....and I want black (though this color might be nice too). I guess I'm also wondering, would it be worth it to get this and then paint them with BBQ paint?

Thanks man,

I got 50' of the 2" wrap shipped for $44 from ebay. It was very easy to work with. I've never wrapped pipes before and this was piece of cake. I dont know about performance or heat displacement, but you dont have to spray it every 6 months like the whites and blacks. Personally I think the color looks great. Its sets the bike apart from ever other black of chrome exhaust.

I inquired about this wrap here over a year ago, but never pulled the trigger. The Thunderheader is an industrial looking pipe IMO, and wrapping them are just what they need.

Nicely done. Looks great! I like how the titanium wrap always stays soft and silky. Unlike the other wraps I've used that get hard and crusty.
