As I understand a lot of V-Twin Mfg parts come from Taiwan ('free' China at least ... vice communist China) ... however, for a lot of things, they're one of the only sources for reproductions/discontinued parts ....

I have used them occasionally ... would be nice to be able to find more made in the USA ....

Maybe I'll have to scour swap meets more diligently ....

Not sure the source of my toolbox ... got it off e-Bay and appears to be genuine motor accessory (GMA) part ... the bracket was made in the USA ... Grafton, VA ....

The leather covered toolbox and bracket is pretty durable. I've had one on the bike for almost 60,000 miles and it's still there.

You'll have to check what the part # is and find a source, e.g., Ebay, Amazon, J&P Cycles, etc. l say this at this as this thread is ~ 11 years old and the OP has had any activity since 2018. Good luck on your search.
