Default Yes another fl front end thread

Just a few questions. My apalogies for those of you who have had enough of these questions but I have searched the mobile sight for two days without answers. For an 07 street bob what year fatboy or heritage front end am I looking for to make my swap easier? Is there any modification besides the fork stops? How do the fork stops work once they have been ground down? I.e. What stops the fork from striking your tank after grinding? And most importantly. How does the ride compare to stock? Thankyou

This should answer some of your questions.

As far as the trees hitting the tank, you don't take that much off the stops.

Here's another place to go for info and ideas.

What ackman said. I posted my FL/Dyna threads with the heading: FL-Dyna. Should be an easy search.
