Some 06'later Dynas suffer from this vibration some don't,the pass pegs on mine are chronic,i've made a lot of posts on the forum about the excessive vibes in my FXD,the general concensus is,i'm a whining brit & should buy a metric(i'm glad I didn't start the post).
Like i said my Dyna vibrates pretty bad generally,so i suppose if the pegs are on the swingarm, which is bolted to the gearbox, which is bolted to the engine, which has(in my Bike)excessive mid range engine vibration, the vibes in the passenger footrests are going to be a lot worse than the rider footrests, which are bolted to the frame, which is isolated from the engine,by rubber mounts.
I'm trying to figure out how to hang some brackets from the frame section,to get the footrests off the swingarm,if i achieve it i'll post the results.
Anyway that's enough whining for today.
Graham.
The reason the 06 and up vibrate is because they are attached to the swingarm. The swingarm is the only part on the bike that is not dampened by the suspension. Any road vibration that the rear tire picks up will be picked up by the swingarm. The best fix is an ISO type peg or floorboard and have the passenger wear a heavy soled boot.

Blaster, that's a really good point,so maybe moveing to the frame would help a lot.
When my wife wears her Harley diving boots, the vibes are worse than with trainers.
