Please Enlighten us.
If there is a search function that lets me search for something I don't know what to call then show me. Plenty of great stuff in the under 50 that I would not even think about searching for and I have come across it by accident during a search for something else. I am not putting it down, there are a lot of nonsensical posts that could be deleted that would make searching through the sticky much easier. Now we are off topic.

Get one of these.

And one of these.

Some wire and female spade connectors.

Small screws and nuts.

1/16" Aluminum plate.

Take a look here for basic procedure.

I'm having trouble accessing pictures on my computer, so I can't show how I mounted the switch on my Super Glide with no screws showing.

I hope he sees it soon then. Are you denying there is a ton of unnecessary BS in that thread. I know he is indexing it but deleting the BS would help tremendously. It can be a valuable thread but it needs some housekeeping.

Absolutely. I put mine below the fuel gauge. I mounted the switch to the AL plate and then the plate around the fuel gauge with its own mounting screws, keeping the screws hidden. Sorry I don't have a picture, but trust me, you can certainly fit the switch in the dash and keep the fuel gauge.
