Just being a smartass as usual

Thanks for the beer offer but I'll have to pass.

Hey if you want to pull a trailer behind the bike go right ahead. I don't personally have a use for pulling around that much stuff behind a bike but everyone is different.

Have fun!

Yeh drnk_n_publick I've never been too worried about what others run off about....like oinker in a blanket....lol....Pig, I was weaned on PBR and have put away a few truck loads over the years. Ya gotta be a man to drink real beer....lol. I've graduated onto Amber Bock at the moment tho. First one's on me....
For the Dyna I have only seen them mounted on the struts, but there may be other options. On the RK that is where they mounted also.

I've seen a lot of guys make trailers using the HF as a platform and then putting a box or carrier on it. By the time they get done they generally have almost as much $ in it as the cost of a piggybacker. Not including all their time.

I would also recommend a swivel hitch.

Why? Everyone is different...specially my wife! When I head out on a trip alone I usually take the sporty and can easily fit all I need for as long as I wanna be gone.

Taking the wife on a few thousand mile trip, if we're staying in motels, no trailer needed. If we're camping, the list of what she needs/wants to set up camp is no short list, but it is pretty dadgum nice with the pop-up tent. We've made a lot of good memories just roaming around and setting up wherever.

Regarding the cargo trailer...first off, I don't even own a cage. But if I did want to use the wifes truck to make my bi-weekly run to the powder coater to pick up/drop off a load of parts ...well let's just say it's way more fun to do it on the bike with the trailer than in the truck.

Haha I'm a fan of ALL beers...anything from American Pilsners to heavy stouts. But when it comes to tying one on, PBR is king!!!

If you take a long enough trip a trailer is very handy.
I like a clean look on the bike so I use a trailer for trips so the bike/trike can be naked.

Dobber, who makes that trailer? It reminds me a lil of the old Mullins trailers the Street Rod guys use. It's shaped like a tour pack that's been blown up.
