Default What part is this?

Okay so to activate the fire systems I want to preface this by saying that my stealership wont have any more manuals until the 3rd...

Okay now that thats out of the way, I was riding a few days back and I kept hearing a "plasticy" vibration noise that I had not heard ever....so I looked all over, and today randomly I think I found the source. In front of the oil filter there is a rectangle plastic bracket of sorts, that has two sets of wires that run through a hole near the bottom of it. It is just holding the wires but the plastic piece itself is not secured to anything, leaving it free to bounce around and shake as it pleases. The side that faces the front tire has a set of prongs that looks as if it goes to whatever part is on the opposite side of the frame. That was a terrible description...fail on my behalf...but hopefully the pics will show you guys what Im talking about. Thanks in advance.

Forgot to ask "Where the hell does it go?" I have tried to put the set of prongs where thye look they might go, but the top set of prongs wont fit into the slot.

What year is the bike? Looking at mine('07fxdc) the plastic piece looks like it's there to basically protect the plug/connection of the voltage regulator. Mine does snap together sorta like a clam shell.

It is a plastic piece that secures the wiring and plugs formthe regulator and front o2 sensor. If you remove the regulator from the frame you can access the clamshell easily and snap everything back together.
