I see you also have a 2006 BBC venom..... I built a 2006 Reaper with a Venom swing arm and a bunch of other mods did some work to the fram and ran a West Coast Chopper tank mounted it high I loved that chop miss it too had to sell it to buy my house but it was a great project, yours looks real sweet man...
Thanks! I bought it built in January. Rides really nice, but the seat kills me! Hope to tear it down over the winter for a new paint job and a couple other upgrades.
Love the paint choice BTW, I think its gonna look awesome!
Here is a pic of the new tins should have them back at the end of the week I am having the side covers done in the silver and I have the battery band in black, also I did the front fender in Black it just didnt work to do the silver and do a stripe the fender is just to narrow to run the strip on so I did the the strip as wide as the fender so it just flows plus I never run a front fender anyway only when I am doing a long ride.. But anyway I think the PPG Silver Star Metal Flake with the Black stripe is gonna look real good with all the new chrome I added..
That paint is gonna look sick. Between your motor and the paint, your going to have a bad a$$ fat bob.
Not yet been waiting on some parts to finish up and didnt want to put the tins on there if I was still working on it my luck I will drop a wrench on those nice new tins.... But I got all my parts except my exhuast backj from chromemasters and my chrome outer primary thats been on back order for almost 2 months now...... Hopefully this weekend or worst case next week.... Thanks guys
Finally got my Chrome outer Primary from HD it was on back order for months, and I also recieved the exhaust from Chromemasters I had the whole Rinehart Crossbacks and heat sheilds chromed and I had the painter re-paint the rinehart tips Black and with a thin brush he painted in the rinehart with the base PPG Silver used on my tins.. Came out killer I think....
Finally got my tins on today took my time didnt want to scratch anything cause I tend to do damage But anyway i think the added chrome I did here and there really looks good with the new paint the PPG Silver has tons of Flake in it, in the sun it is blinding with all the flake in it and the black is black but I think the racing stripe came out pretty good I was thinking of doing two but then we decided on one just thicker stripe and it worked out at least i think.... What do you guys think?????
Loving it, nice to see a Fat Bob in something other than black. I'am jealous, that paint looks so right. What do you do to support your habit. I must be in the wrong line of work.
Are you running a Sportster seat? It works with the look.
