I have been looking into doing a side mount on mine as well, and I am not a fan of trying to hide wires and was going to go with an un-lighted one as well. And talked to my neighbor is state trooper and he said unless you was just being a jerk if you ever got pulled over most cops wouldnt say anything about it.... So what part of Ky are ya from?
