installed pipes and A/C last night. since I wrapped it up around 1:00AM, it took some restraint not to spark it up for effect. Instaed I waited until this morning after I had installed the Kuryakyn Iso grips. My dealer did as advertised, the thing pulls like a train! ( esp. since It's broken in and I can get on it some. The only thing I noticed after about 30 minutes is the idle was running a little high. When i got near my tools again, I first checked the idle throttlem adjustment, and rolled that back, still too high, so i dropped the idle on the carb. It's got a real nice lope at idle now, and when you crack it open, it sounds just like a HD should. I expected more intake plenum noise with the SE A/C kit ( having had Webers with K&N s in the distant past) but it's not too loud, and when I'm deeper into the throrrle all I hear is the pipes in full song.

hey,

Just wanted to warn ya, you NEED the stage I re-calibration, if you haven't already done it, otherwise you're going WAY too lean!!

These guys really sing at higher rev's huh?

I'm also looking to let a little growl out the engine without terrorizing the neighbors when I spark it up at 0600. .
My neighbors must love me , lol . I have Vance & Hines Straight shots ,and sometimes take my bike to work , too bad I have to leave for work at 2:30AM , lol
