When it was time for a change (only 5500 miles!) on my 21" Dunlop, I went with a 21" Avon Roadrunner. It is a wider/taller tire. I feel a difference of gaining more control of the front end. It still looks skinny like the classic wide glide but when you compare it to the Dunlop, you can see a difference.

Stock width on pre-06 is a 80/90x21 I replaced it with a 90/90 Avon AM41 Venom on my second set ,great tire for wet dry and mileage. the 06/07's now have 90/90's
