Hey everybody. First real thread. I own an 09 1200c. I'm currently running the 21 inch wheel that came with it; I prefer the bigger, beefier look of bigger tires. So i have a series of questions:
What is the largest tire I can run with my 21"/narrow front?
What is the largest I could run with a 19"/narrow setup?
Those same two questions, but after a mid-glide swap?
Any other thick tire/wheel combo recommendations?
I like the look of the forty-eight, with perhaps a slightly smaller tire.
I can't help you with the narrow and mid-glide stuff. But if you want big and beefy why not go all the way with a 150x16 in a wide-glide front end. The mid and wide-glide kits are the same price. If you're worried about handling, don't. Mine handles great.
