I pulled the trigger on a new one yesterday. 2011 black with flames. The used one had an issue with getting the title. (he wanted to take payment and hand it over after he paid off the note.NOT!) Anyhow Seacoast treated me well with a no bullshit deal. It was 30 minutes before closing, so I put a deposit down and have to sign the rest of the paperwork Friday. I couldn't sleep last night. My head was spinning with ideas. Ha Ha.

Thanks man. I hear ya. Now I have to work more overtime to customize it. Seriously though, I was at work one night browsing this forum and found this thread, and it has saved me $$$, as I would not have gone to a dealer in NH. I figured that the prices would be in the same ballpark. That just shows that it is healthy for the consumers to have competition. The dealers in Maine are few and far between. Time for a few brews while I search for accessories online.
New here, just bought a new 2010 wideglide last month. I got a GREAT deal from St Paul Harley. I was looking at a used '10 for $11,999 with 5,000 miles on it but after spending a few hours with the salesman at st paul HD, I got mine for not a lot more....and its brand new! unfortunately, the downside of buying a bike in January is I have yet to ride it.... spring can't get here soon enough!

Glad this thread helped you! I just bought mine on Saturday after listening to all the great feedback from this thread. Glad I started it. I got the Sedona Orange 2011 with black flames for $13800 out the door. Since I got 20% off parts and accessories, I also sprung for the black V&H short shots staggered. Really wanted the sideshots, but couldn't justify another 200 for them over the shortshots which I liked as well.
I got a quote of $710 to have the fork lowers and tripple trees powdercoated gloss black and for the handlebars to be satin black. That was including the shop labor to disassemble and reassemble, but I didn't get 20% off of that so I can do that at anytime. Really want that look, but needed to see if I could get it done cheaper with someone else doing the tear down and build up as the powdercoat was only $110.
Now I just need to get the snow to thaw and get out in a safety/learners course and figure out how to ride a bike before I bring it home. They are storing it for me until I am ready. Can't wait.
