Default Doing Progressive front and rear today

I just received a set of 412s and the drop in kit today. I'm going to try and do the rear one side at a time. If not a buddy has a nice lift. I watched progressive's video for the front end. (very good video)
I don't have a breaker bar. What is that anyway?

Wish me luck.

Is there a left side or right side to the rear shocks? Do I have to have the progressive label facing out? I would kind of like it hidden.

Second with the front end: is there a proper top and both
To the springs or can the go in any direction. Of course they will still be installed in the correct order. Ty

Cool

Just peel the stickers off. Never understood why people left the sticker on them anyway. I treat stickers like reflectors. They go in the trash!

A breaker bar is a long extension bar allowing you more leverage to loosen bolts, etc. If you don't have one, you can improvise. Sometimes I take the hollow bar from my floor jack and put that over the socket wrench handle to get tons of leverage.

Here are some tips on the front:

1) Put tape around the chrome shock caps before putting the socket on them to prevent scratches.

2) Get the caps loose and then put a towel over them and unscrew them by hand slowly until they pop off. Beware: They will pop off and the towel is to prevent injury to yourself and the bike.

3) Pull the stock springs out slowly because shock oil will be dripping everywhere.

Tight coils of the springs go at the bottom.
