Default V&H Big Radius 2 into 1

Quick one..........

Would a V&H Big Radius 2 into 1 that fits on a 2009 Fat BOB, also fit on a 2010 Fat BOY?

Thanks!

The pipes would fit, but the mounting brackets most likely would not. You would have to buy the right ones or make your own.

I just bought/installed one on my 11 FatBob, check the Dennis Kirk website, i think the FatBoy had a diff p/n. like said before my be just the mounting bracket. FYI its loud. Started it up for the first time and maybe the last Sat. night. Too loud for me, i might put it up for sale here in the near future, need to ride it around the block first.

If it is just too loud, pull the baffles and wrap some stove rope loosely around the long part of the baffle, that will quiet it down.

The exhaust will fit. the bracket is different. Changed out mine last week. Removed the Straight Shot Slip-ons. The noise is a lot quieter and deeper. 105db at idle compared to 117db with the Straight Shots.

Curious, what did you test the sound level with? I have a couple apps on my DROID that I use.
How far away from the bike were you for those readings?

I have a decebel meter in my Mobile phone. I place this on the ground 3 foot away from the tip of the exhaust directly behind the bike and take the readings. The meter has a max hold for the db reading so I am able to see what the reading is. I hope this helps.
