but it needs to be a soft block ...true Joe?...hard blocks on round panels, very hard to block and could actually cause more problems

I use durablocks too... They are some of the best money that I've spent. Find a local paint and body supply store and they'll have everything you'll need. When wet sanding I use a very soft foam block. What did you use to sand everything until this point?

I did it all by hand. I've tried looking for a supply store with no luck. I'll keep looking. Sanding the orange peel down is a PITFA!!!

it is cause you did it by hand bud... un even pressure when you do this... when i send i go in one direction with a block till it is smooth, then glide coat, more sanding, skim, then prime... more sanding (sometimes another glide coat) then prep for base coat...
just slow down a bit bud, good paint takes time exp if this is your first time slinging it

I just read that my reducer (medium) is for temps of 70-85. Couldnt have been more that 60 when I painted. How will that affect the paint? Will it cause it to sag or peel? Man alot goes into this! I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet.
