Remove the gas tank decals.

I want to remove the brushed aluminum harley davidson decals from the gas tank. Their held on with adhesive right?? Any words of wisdom would help.

dental floss/nylon fishing line/nylon guitar string....and....a hair dryer. Heat up the emblem for a little bit and just pull the string through. Sould take it right off.

When finished, use some goo gone...or similar...to remove any remaining adhesive.

on mine I just peeled the emblem and rubbed the sticky foam with my thumb. looks great. I had a hard time with the reflectors. use heat.

I use some 40 pound line off of my salmon pole....use kind of a sawing motion behind the emblem. Then I just peal off the rest with my thumb. I finish it off with a little Goo Gone.

Rear Reflectors are held on with same stuff that holds the International Space Station together.....
