my 04 dyna has two fuel caps? theyre custom the left side has leds attached im afraid if remove it ill diconnect something and well should the left cap be removed to fuel the bike?

aparently your a very new rider. leave the left alone you fill from the right. the left has your fuel guage or senssor for your fuel guage

The left side is the fuel gauge. Don't try to remove it, you will break it.

Also that tank is not split. It looks like the old split tanks but it is not.

yes just twist and pull real hard, that left one can stick sometimes.

Harley issued a service bulletin on that model. Words to the affect:

"A small batch of bikes were produced with an errorneously inserted electrical device lodged in the left hand gas tap recepticle. This electrical component should be removed with a short tug and then discarded immediately."
