Burly Slammer Lowering KIt
Just a post to see how anyone rates this kit.I'm wanting to lower my Street Bob,front and back,but as it's so much less expensive than Progressive,I'm wondering if I'd be wasting my money.

I run the Slammer kit, but only in the rear. I love the feel and look of the rear shocks. I could be wrong, but I think I heard somewhere that Progressive makes the Burly Slammers. I guess that means it's the poor mans Progressive kit, lol. I bumped my preload up 2 notches when I installed them to account for my fat a$$. Anyways, the only time I had an issue with them was when I was flying down the road (80mph) and hit a pothole and the bleeder bolt on my rear caliper hit my fender and dinged it. This wouldn't have happen with the stock shock because it is taller, but I guess somethings should be expected whenyour bike is slammed and you try to ride it like you stole it!
