Flat Black Spray Paint?
#13
My kid wanted black denim fenders on his Nightster instead of the factory silver. I used H-D Vivid Black and the H-D Satin Clearcoat in the spray can ($14). As long as the black was smooth, it was nearly impossible to not do a perfect job with the Denim spray can. I was actually quite shocked (and pleased) how easy it was to get a consistant finish with the spray can.

I don't think that these guys have a Flat black but damn it is good paint. I used regular paint on my cars headlight rings and would need to repaint them ever couple months (rocks and debris from roads) with this stff it has lasted over 2 years. I also used to paint my quads foot pegs all the time and this stuff is just so much durable and has a rubberized effect.

I'd do this first - first of all its pretty easy to get a good result, looks good and best of all - after you've run in a while if you don't like it you can peel it off again. If you do like it - get them powder coated over the winter, its cheap, looks good and is more durable than paint.
