6' 230 here, Not that big, but the girl rides with me quite a bid and she's probably an additional 150-ish, so 380lbs and we'll bottom out once in a blue moon when I'm taking dips and turns faster than I should at 2up.
Plenty of suspension upgrades out there, just gotta stop being so cheap.
any big guys out here riding dyna....im a pretty big guy 6ft weight is 3 and some change...i might just keep saving for a Road King Classic but i sure do like the look of the Dyna's
6' 5" and 350lbs here.
I had a 03 FXD and swapped for a 96 FLHR buf found it cramped compared to the Dyna. 6 months later the FLHR was gone and I'm back on a Dyna.
The Road King is a bigger bike physically but there is more room for the rider on a dyna with forwards imo. Look at the bend in my leg on these two pics...
Also I ride mainly two up and that just was not possible on the FLHR with the detachable sissy bar in place.
i'm 6'1 and 320.. my streetbob rides just fine. i also lowered it with progressive shocks in the rear, rides stiff, but looks great...
2 up not an option anymore..
get the street bob you"ll enjoy it.
One of my brothers is 5'11" and 300+...had Progressive make up a pair of 412's for him, heavier Race-Tech springs in front and he really likes the FXDP floorboards; a lot easier on the legs over the miles...sits on a Corbin solo without complaints...
6'4" in the boots i wear when i ride & 290 give or take.
I keep my shocks on 3 and rides almost as smooth as my goldwing did (seriously) & i have more room - hwy pegs, cant afford forwards yet. I ride 2-up on 5 on the shocks (only rode 2-up twice)
Using mid pegs here & 8" bars - and 16" hangers changed everything!!!
Like others have said with a few adjustments it will be fine. I'm 6'2 240 and with forwards can really stretch out. Raised the bars and have progressive 412's on 3 with no issues. You will like it.
I'm only 6'3" and 230. I have a 2010 Dyna Superglide. However my youngest son is 5'5" ,270 and rides an 06 Street Bob with mid controls.
You should be able to pick him out on the left in this picture taken during our 4,000 mile ride last year. The year before we did a 9,000 mile ride. So don't let anyone tell you that you can't tour on a Dyna.
