Hey I searched but I would like to Know the best tires for /high speed/cornering/ and long wearing/ I'm sorry to ask this but I just got a 07 SG and I hate the tires (Original) dunflops 7000 miles, useless ,OK when warmed up! I used to ride a 86" Knuck and the tires at that time were great
Now we have all these different tires ie more stickey etc. but I would just like a reasonable price tire that will last and keep me shiney side up! yeah ha!
Oh Sheit I also want tires that work in cooler temps!
All info from same riders greatly appreciated

I personally like the metzlers I had them on my old bike(not a harley) but I just put them on this winter on the wide glide(now just waiting for the snow to melt to test them) everyone I know ends up putting them on their bike
Most suggestions will be Metzler 880's, Dunlop E 3's and Avon Storm or Venoms.
I ran the OEM dunlop out and switched to the SE 180, it lasted about as long as the first one with similar riding performance.
I went to an Avon Storm rear and Venom front after my OEM tires went away. They were incredibly better than the stock Dunlops in every way. They seemed to wear kinda quick.
I changed the rear out for a Metzler 880 and it is still on the bike. I have the Venom still on the front and will go to the 880 when I change out my 19" rim for the 21".
The only thing I know about the E 3's are what I have heard about them. they are said to be very good on mileage.
Thanks thats what I am hearing Metzler and the 880 so I got a week before I deside and that will be on popular disision to match the riding crieteia I suggested ,, front is not worn now and seems to handle ok for skiney sorry used to cat squash front 16 so this is a new ride for me.... I don't think I would go to 21 but hell try all EHHH any sugg appecaited and or rejected I just realy want that back stuck!!!!!
Wanted the Pirelli night dragons but they were on backorder at the local dealer, went with the Metzler 880's , great tire, very happy with them. I come from sport bikes and tend to push my 07 Lowrider a bit, but a huge improvement over the oem Dunlops
I just switched to the 880's and they are really nice, I went from a 90 up front to a 120 so I couldnt tell you if the width made it better or if the tires are really that much better.
I'm just mounting my front wheel with the 880 03FXDL. Hand metzler in the past on sport bikes and have had them on my dualsport. Very good tire with a stiff side wall. They seem to take me a little extra time to mount themthough.
