Default Chirping

My 02 Wide Glide makes a chirping sound when i cross bridges with cement barriers can be very annoying.Any ideas what might cause this.I was thinking baffles or rubber between carb and intake???

I am subscribing to this thread, my bike has a strange noise like that too, going to be on the lookout for a quick fix or at least something about it...

This subject comes up occasionally. Usually - but not always - a chirping sound is caused by a dirty drive belt. I clean my drive belt with warm soapy water and the wife's tooth brush. Chirping stops, but the wife's teeth kinda get a little funky looking. Not a bad trade off in my opinion.

I had a chirping sound when I got out of the throttle. Tightened the drive belt and it went away.

Ty.. I'll check it again even though I just had a new tire, brakes and a new rear axle installed last week and the belt was cleaned as well. This has been going on since I got the bike in 09.I only hear it while riding at a steady throttle across bridges.
