Question No Gas
I have a 2002 FXDL.

First I had a problem with gas coming out of the carb all over the side of the back. I took out the carb got a rebuild kit and reinstalled. I then put gas into the tank and tried to start it. Nothing... So I removed the fuel line at the petcock and nothing was coming out. I replaced the petcock got a new fuel filter and still nothing.

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Is there a vacume line on the petcock?

There should be and it should be connected at both ends......

Yes and it is connected. Still don't have gas.

Remove the gas cap and the fuel line from the carb, open the petcock and see if you get fuel to flow out of the tank.

I have done that also, still no gas.

Well, hate to sound demeaning, but do you have the petcock in the right position, actually have a full tank of gas?
Gas should flow if there is any in the tank and the valve is open.

No believe me I have done bone head things but the tank has gas not full however and the petcock is open. But that does sound like something I would do...LOL

After what Hog said, and you made sure of that, my thought would be an obstruction in the tank (ex: bad gas, dirt, etc.) that is holding the gas in. It doesn't take much for that to happen. There should be a steady flow otherwise.
