Screamin' Eagle Ventilator on '08 FXDF?

Does anyone know if Part #28722-10 The Screamin Eagle Ventilator air filter kit will fit on a '08 fat bob. MoCo says '10 and later Dynas, but i don't really see what the difference would be with the air filter set up on a '08 and a '10.

Yes it will fit. Straight drop in.

In fact I have one here that was a take-off from an '08.

Not that I'm doubting you, I just really want it to fit on my '08, But how come the stage 1 air cleaner set up is the same on '08s and 11's and this one is different?

I can only tell you it works. In fact with a couple of extra bits you can even make these A/Cs work OK with a carb.

Pity you aren't closer. I'd give you the one I have and even help you fit it.

I can't answer that question. All I know is that they have different size throttle bodies. Be careful when you try it. It may physically bolt up, but if the opening in the backing plate doesn't match the throat diameter of tb, it's going to be a performance downgrade.
