I traded in the old '99 on a new Superglide. I thought alot of you who may have bought the same bike got some of the same accessories as I did which are quite common, ie. windshield, forward controls, mufflers and saddle bags, etc. I didn't want to pay them $90 per hour to install this stuff and plan on doing it myself. Specifically I could use some info on the rear tail light relocation from the fender struts to the layback plate kit I got and also the conversion from mids to forward controls. Info from someone who has recently done these on what to watch out for or any issues you had might be useful to me before I tackle this.

Well I got the mufflers changed over today to V+H slash downs. They sound good, not too loud but now it sounds like a Harley instead of a sewing machine. I didn't want it too loud anyway, I had had enough of that with my old bike. Damn those stock mufflers come off hard for being brand new. I studied up on the instructions for the saddle bags, turn signal relocation and the forward controls. The bags and signals I'm gonna do but I think I'll have my Tech do the fwd controls. I'm not too excited about tearing the whole primary case apart to get the new shifter arm installed. I wish I could post some pics but I just never took the time to figure it out on here.
