I have a vibration in my stock bars when weaving (either direction) at slow speeds, vibration dissipates as speed increases. I discovered it during evasive maneuvers during an encounter with a pothole (missed pothole, or we would not be speaking right now).
Not extremely annoying, but now that I know it is there... Tires wearing in? Head bearing?...
I wondered if any others have noticed this in there new FXDC's. I'm at 212 miles and i will ask when I take it in for first service...
it's a dyna.. it shakes, get used to it...
last year i spend hours reading about everyone else chasing the vibration ghosts.. did the shimmed motor mount. etc..
bottom line, it's a harley, and it's gonna shake like all hell.. smile and enjoy it
congrats on the new bike!!!
I never experienced vibration from my tires on the 2010 SB that came with Scorchers.
I have read threads about it, but never had the issue.
Dyna's do shake. Especially when new, and you're not use to the way the bike acts. Is this your first Harley?
Funny story. I went to buy a Harley, and it had been years since I had sat on one and started it. I mounted the bike and started it. I about jumped out of my pants. Scared the mess out of me. Anyway. I thought it was funny.
You will also notice a quick vibration when your motor winds down when stopping. Normal. You will notice that a lot of the vibration goes away, or becomes second nature.

I have a 2011 Bob and mine does the same thing took it to the stealer and they said it was my tire pressure! The vibe I feel it at slow speeds under I’d say around 40 or so. I can feel and hear the vibe I have no clue what it is. It seems like it is at the same point if I lean left or right. My Bob now has just under 5k and no problems so I just quit looking for one. Have fun and ride the **** out of it soon you will forget all about it!
