cruztools sets are supposed to cover most of your needs. You can print off a pdf that tells you exactly what is in the sets. If you're looking to cut costs, use that list as a guide to just bring the tools you already own. Wire ties, elec tape, and some sort of multitool should always be included.
In addition to a basic tool kit and tire patch kit also bring a siphon hose. There are some pretty remote places and could come in handy. Did for a friend of mine when his VRod ran out of gas.
I just ordered the Roadtech Teardrop from my local dealer. Its all the same tools as the H3 kit but the case zips up. It was $70 so I thought it would be a good investment. I'll throw in some zip ties,electrical tape,andI should be safe
