Default fuel milage

what fuel milage and what mods have been done motor wise. I checked this moring and I am getting 30mpg before my tune. I have a frew friends that ride baggers with 95" SE motor, and a 103" SE motor than claim 40-50mpg. I am either being lied to or am just WAY harder on my bike than others. Maybe my tune is way off, I have an appointment saturday to be tuned. here is my motor work
-SE Heavy Breather
-SE Plug Wires
-SE Plugs
-Python Staggered Duals
-Andrews 30t
-Barnett Clutch Spring
-SE Compensator
-Andrews 54h cams
-Andrews Adj Push Rods
-Andrews 4* advance

30 mpg is what I get with mostly in-town commutes.

I learned when riding my old eGlide, that there are steps in the EFI fuel mapping. That is, with that bike when I crossed the 3K RPM range (about 80 mph in 6th gear) I felt a boost of added power.... AND my fuel mileage fell off. If I kept the bike under 80 mph.. at say 77 to 78 mph I would get in the upper 40's on the highway.... on the other hand, if I went above 80 mph I would get in the lower 40's.

Conditions like wind and so forth affect mileage of course...
